DORIAN MURRY is the founder and managing partner of The Murry Law Group, P.C., in Stone Mountain, Georgia (770.450.0123 — dm@murrylawgroup.com).

He specializes in criminal defense, civil rights litigation, social security disability, and personal injury. His practice ranges from simple traffic tickets such as speeding and DUI to white collar crimes such as mortgage fraud, tax evasion, racketeering, and embezzlement to serious violent felonies such as armed robbery and malice murder. He has successfully defended children as young as 13 charged as adults and senior citizens charged with assault. He has sued sheriffs, police officers, municipalities, and fortune 500 companies for civil rights violations like police brutality, false arrest, and malicious prosecution. He has represented civil rights leaders, Grammy award winning artists, TV stars, international dignitaries, and professional athletes. However, his fervor rests in representing the common everyday person and evening things up for those who bear the scorn of the oppressor’s wrong and the law’s delay. He fights fire with fire, meets guile with guile, and rights legal wrongs. He fights in the trenches for all his clients and proudly wears the scars for everyone to see.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia in 1995 and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998. He began his career with the Legal Aid & Public Defender Office in Athens, Georgia. Later, he practiced with the Georgia Justice Project in Atlanta, Georgia.
